About
Secretary –
Mr. Ajay Chowdhury took over all the responsibilities of the school after retiring from Eastern Railway in 2014. His main goal is to improve the quality of education by sincerely discussing the issue of teaching students with all the teachers in the school. Parents of every student should have the opportunity to discuss their children's education, make sure that the students of the school can study in this school on a low school fee, and always strive to improve the quality of education by building a family relationship with each teacher.
Founder of the school –
Shri Satkari Das established Shishu Niketan (Nursery and KG) School on 2nd May 1989. at Majher Para, Krishnapur, Kolkata – 700102.
Respected Satkari Das Mahasaya was the son of a very poor family but he got 1st Class 1st in Mining Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.
Then began his working life, his first job was at the Indian Bureau of Mines - Nagpur, then he moved to Bokaro Steel Limited and in his last life, he became the Deputy Director of Steel Authority of India Limited.
His life's dream was to build a primary school for lower-middle-class children (all families with a monthly income of Rs. 10,000). To fulfil his dream, he voluntarily retired from his working life in 1988 and bought a swamp of land in the area, and set up a primary school. His daughter Mrs. Jaya Das (Chowdhury) extended a helping hand to him. Finally he handed over all the responsibilities of this school to his daughter and in 1997 he went to heaven. All the people of this region, students, parents remember him with reverence forever.
Headmistress –
Mrs. Jaya Chowdhury is always striving to make the school well established through educational discussions with the teachers and parents.
If the language of every student's tongue can be introduced into the language of the mind, then that education gives a student the opportunity to become educated in the society, for that purpose there is an opportunity to discuss with the parents of every student at any time in school. We discuss the happiness, sorrow, study of the students.
The quality of the books is fixed every year in consultation with the parents and teachers to ensure that the reading of each student is good as well as to ensure that the quality of the school books is good.
